"Talent is universal but opportunity is not"
We exist to bridge that gap, ensuring every student has the tools, guidance, and social mentorship to learn, grow, and transform. As our mission we foster inner transformation so that young people can unlock their full potential, build confidence, and shape a brighter future.
At Beyond Boundaries, we connect talented yet underserved students with mentors from Harvard University.
Through personalized guidance, social mentorship, and structured learning support, we help students:
Bridge the gap between talent and resources by opening doors to world-class education and networks.
Provide social mentorship that nurtures aspirations, builds resilience, and offers real-world guidance.
Foster inner transformation by instilling confidence, values, and a growth mindset.
Equip students to not only achieve academic success but also become leaders who can uplift their communities.
Our work ensures that every student, regardless of background, has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
The magic of Beyond Boundaries Initiative was born at Harvard Kennedy School — a place where lives are transformed.
During a Power and Influence class, Aarushi, a policy expert and a lifelong Redcross volunteer, shared her dream: to connect underserved high school students in India with mentors from Harvard and beyond. Having already reached over 35,000 rural students through her Know Thyself workshops, she knew the power of mentorship.
Himi, a public health expert who had worked at the grassroots in Rajasthan, India, instantly saw the potential of this vision and stepped forward to support. Many classmates volunteered as the first mentors, and the idea took flight.
Prajakta, a central banking economist and EdTech enthusiast with an international footprint, joined as a mentor in the pioneer cohort in Spring 2025 and witnessed the deep inner transformation mentorship could bring. Inspired, she became part of the founding team after her Harvard graduation as an MPA.
From that one classroom moment, a movement was born — to open doors of opportunity, awaken dreams, and transform lives.
